Below is a sample of the type of work FT Ductile has been involved in.

Southend STW : 1000mm flanged pipe in 6m lengths.

Hams Hall – Radius – Firemain, 300mm ductile iron pipe.

Barcombe WTW, Sussex – steel and ductile iron pipe and fittings in a variety of diameters (700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1200mm).

Darton STW : This scheme involved a complete sewage upgrade of all the pipes and fittings on site, ranging from 100mm – 600mm ductile iron fabrications, fittings, valves and accessories. The project ran over several months and all items were delivered to BS EN 598.

CGA Liverpool : FT Ductile was asked to supply a 2m diameter flanged spigot complete with puddle flange (pictured above) for a wastewater treatment plant in Liverpool.  After consultation with the client, the fitting was designed and made at our mill in China, coated and lined to BS EN 598 and shipped over to the UK site. The entire process, from design to drawing approval, fabrication and delivery, took less than 12 weeks.

Uttons Drove : steel and ductile iron pipe fittings and valves up to 600mm diameter.

Ennerdale : FT Ductile was asked to supply large bore pipe as part of a reservoir upgrade at Ennerdale WTW in the Lake District. Following technical discussions and to ensure the required lead times could be adhered to, 1000mm steel fabricated pipework, butterfly valves and tees were supplied.

Various London Schemes : The Crossness Sewage Treatment Works in East London has been improved in order to reduce the amount of storm sewage that overflows into the River Thames during heavy rainfall. As part of this work, our parent company FT Pipeline Systems provided 300mm Fuchs steel pipe which formed an extension to the existing pipeline.  FT Ductile supplied a wide range of ductile iron fittings, ranging from flange adapters through to non-return valves.
